Henllys Community Council

Village Playparks

There are five playparks in Henllys, four are owned and maintained by Torfaen County Borough Council.

The playpark in the centre of the village is owned, equipped and maintained by the Community Council on behalf of, and for the benefit of, the residents of Henllys.

The Community Council's Park Warden keeps a close eye on the park, effecting repairs wherever possible or reporting damage.

Funds are set aside by the Community Council to enable swift repairs or replacements to be effected whenever necessary. The Community Council ensures an independant ROSPA examination of the playpark is undertaken each year and any problems addressed accordingly.

As elsewhere we suffer from mindless vandalism from time to time.  If you see any damage, or anyone causing damage, please report it to the Clerk.
