Henllys Community Council
Committee Information
The following is an overview of the Community Council committees. For more information see the appropriate link to the left.
Full Council
The full Council of Henllys Community Council meets at 6pm on the second Monday of each month, except August. For the time being, while Henllys has no village hall, the meetings take place in Cwmbran Community Council's Community Hall.
All residents of Henllys are welcome to attend any of these meetings and may submit items to be included on the agenda. Such submissions should be put in writing to the Clerk - contact details can be found on the Contacts page. It should be noted that whilst residents are entitled to address the council before the meeting they cannot contribute to any debate during the meeting.
To cope with extra business a number of supplementary meetings may be held throughout the year. Anyone wishing to attend any of these meetings should contact the Clerk for dates.
Planning Committee
The Planning Committee meets twice monthly on the second and fourth Friday of each month to comment on planning applications due to be considered by Torfaen County Borough's Planning Department. Anyone wishing to attend any of these meetings should contact the Clerk for dates.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee meets twice a year to consider grant applications from local organisations and has additional meetings throughout the year for other purposes such as budget-setting and review etc.

This Group is working to develop a Vision & Strategy for Henllys.
General Working Party
